Biography
Based in Singapore/Kuala Lumpur, Syakirah Noble (b.1999) is a singer-songwriter currently studying a BMus in Popular Music (hons) at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester, United Kingdom. In just over a year of being in Manchester, Syakirah has had the opportunity to perform in venues such as the Deaf Institute, The Manchester Academy 2 and Bridgewater Hall. She’s also recorded in studios such as 80 Hertz, Blueprint Studios and in the prestigious Abbey Road Studios, London.

Prior to coming to Manchester, Syakirah performed in a wide variety of events ranging from high profile performances to live shows on national television. Notably, she joined Mediacorp Suria channel’s reality singing competition, “Anugerah Mengejar Impian” in 2017 and came in as 1st runner up. She has since been making regular appearances for variety programmes on local television in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Her future aspirations are to reach a larger audience with her unique identity and style of original music. Currently, her sound focuses on blending jazz, pop, R’N’B and classical styles. Syakirah believes that music is a gift that should truly be accessible to all and is also looking to teach and pass on her valuable knowledge to future generations and eventually hopes to set up a music school for all people of all backgrounds.
